Universal Studios reveló el nuevo trailer de uno de los best sellers más esperado en la gran pantalla, “The Girl on the Train” o “La Chica del Tren” protagonizada por Emily Blunt promete ser una película de suspenso y juegos mentales muy al estilo de Gone Girl.
El tráiler acompañado por el tema Heartless de Kanye West revela una oscura historia sobre una desaparición y una mujer que dice haberla visto. La cinta está basada en la novela de la escritora británica Paula Hawkins, llevada al cine por Dreamworks, dirigida por Tate Taylor (De Historias Cruzadas) con un guión de Erin Cressida Wilson.

Emily Blunt interpreta a Rachel Watson, una mujer alcohólica que acaba de divorciarse y que fantasea con la vida de una pareja que suele ver cuando pasa delante de su casa en el tren. Este será el inicio de un misterio que se detona cuando Rachel se despierta sin recuerdo de lo que sucedió la noche anterior y descubre que la chica de la pareja que observaba ha desaparecido.
La chica desaparecida es niñera de el exesposo de Watson y su nueva pareja, quién se verá enredada en la historia policial que se complica cuando la niñera (Haley Bennett) aparece muerta y ella es vinculada con los hechos criminales.
